Originally from Manchester UK, I have lived and travelled
extensively in the Dominican Republic since 2009. I have owned property here
since then, have been married to a Dominican citizen and currently live with my
wonderful 13 year old daughter Sheila. The last 10 years of my working life in
the UK involved interaction with many different types of business, the public
and Her Majesty's Court System, enforcing the collection of Business Rent, Business
Rates and Council Tax, (City Tax). Highlights of my life to date include the
design and self -build of a 5 bedroomed three storey detached house, winning a
second planning appeal (after my initial appeal was dismissed - very rare) and
successfully defending a Pending revision to my title deed issued by HM Land
Registry, instigated by neighbour opposition. I have bought and sold 7 properties in the UK, remodelling and renting three. I have previously rented my Villa in Sousa. I have lived in Santo Domingo for over two years and Monte Plata for a little under one year. Favourite places on the Island; simply everywhere,
although who likes the traffic in the capital? My hobbies include Karaoke, Snooker, Pool and Sailing. Spoken and written languages English and Spanish.

Soy originaria de Manchester, Reino Unido, y he vivido y viajado
extensamente por la República Dominicana desde 2009. He tenido propiedades aquí desde
entonces, estoy casada con un ciudadano dominicano y actualmente vivo con mi

Vivo en Santo Domingo desde hace más de dos años y en Monte Plata desde hace poco menos de un año. Mis lugares favoritos de la isla; simplemente todos,
